i make beats as a hobby.. overall, we just have fun doin our thing. if you like our music, cool..if you dont like it, thats cool too.
been makin beats since 05. started with fl studio, then moved to a mpc. i incorporate both software and hardware to make beats. the best of both worlds
Rsonist of the heatmakerz.. yea he samples, big deal. if it aint broke dont fix it. hes mastered the art of sampling and his drums are ridiculous. major influence in my wanting to be a beatmaker
mpc 2000xl, numark turntable, roland sound module, korg triton, behringer 802 mixer(great mixer for 60$)and fl studio 7xxl(fl studio is awesome for beginners and for using Edison to chop samples up) and mpc editor
just have fun makin music..f*ck what people think. theres always gonna be haters that think theyre better. they might be, they might not be, but most of the time, theyre not, thats why they hate. what sounds simple to someone might sound crazy to someone else. if you can forget the world around you when makin music, then youre already ahead of the game.
