FAQ
Why would I need a license?
A license is needed if you want to use the music for anything else than just listening for your pleasure. Typical uses are
- freestyling over a beat
- licensing music for use in TV or for a movie
- remixing or use audio samples
What are the license options and what are the differences between those?
We offer up to 5 license templates (Basic, Premium, Track Out, Unlimited, Exclusive) and it's up to the artist which ones he/she wants to make available. Each license comes with different perks. In general, the higher the price, the better the perks.
You can click on each feature on the left side of the comparison chart above to learn more about each one.

When will I get the track I purchased?
You can download all related files immediately after your purchase. We also email you a one-time download link for a download later.
How can I remove the audio tag from the track?
A "tagged beat" is a demonstration version of an instrumental that contains distinct audio watermarks that typically play throughout the entire track. The purpose of a producer tagging his/her instrumental is to prevent piracy and to encourage serious recording artists to purchase a license.
To get a tag-free audio please make sure you purchase a license which features "untagged audio".

I purchased a $1 download, why is the beat still tagged?
Beats purchased for $1 in our store are meant for streaming and demo use only, just like downloads from iTunes store or Amazon music.
To license a beat without audio tag and to use in a professional manner please buy a license from this page. Usually those are $25 and up.

What is a stem / trackout file?
A Stem file is an audio file that contains a track split into several musical elements: A drums stem, a bassline stem, a harmony stem, and a lead stem for example.
The Stem file also usually includes the original stereo master of the track for standard playback.
The Stem file also usually includes the original stereo master of the track for standard playback.
Why would I need a stem / trackout file?
A trackout file gives you much better control. Imagine you rap over a beat and you realize the percussions take the focus away from your vocals. With a trackout file
you can simply tone down the percussion and the focus is now on the vocals. With a trackout file you have much more flexibility and a whole different level of control.
I play bass and sing for The Trist, a Sacramento, CA based all original adult contemporary band with a 70s/80s vibe. This page is for my works in progress and songs that are new or haven't been recorded by the band yet.
Band/artist history
I'm sure we'll create a band page, but we've been playing together off and on since high school in the late 70s/80s.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play with the band at coffee places, parties, fundraisers etc.
Your musical influences
Whether they influenced me or not, I love Kansas, most Southern Rock, certain progressive rock and artists like Billy Joel.
What equipment do you use?
Newest addition is a Raven West Guitar SkyRanger 590T. I also have a Carvin LB40 bass, a Carvin Acoustic guitar for some performances and a Deltatone Strat with a whammy bar for recording when necessary. I use a Yamaha DG80 1-12 amp, a Carvin Acoustic Amp and a Fender Bassman. At home I love using Mixcraft Pro software, a Presonus USB DAW and an MXL 63M Condenser mic.
Anything else?
Just trying to stay connected with the music world.

Thank you Bob, I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I'm a product of the 70s so the Seals & Crofts reference is appropriate :)
Got a nice Folk Rock vibe here Patrick - reminded me some of Seals & Crofts - cheers to the music :^))
Patrick, I must confess this is a guitar sound I´ve been looking for for decades now.
Crunchy yet clear. Wonderful!
YOu ROCK, man!
And the whole band rocks along.
Pretty southern at times
Phantastic breaks!
I love that.
Your vocals: Just perfect. Fitting, sitting in the song!. The lyrics, well, I mean it´s a ROCK SONG after all, right, so the message has to be IN THE FACE I guess, no room for intellectual poetry here.
The whole production is flawless and great, from playing to recording and mixing to mastering!
100%. This is what I call a great rock song!
Congrats to this one!
Cheers from Frankfurt
Hey Patrick, 2 songs in one, cool thing.
The intro; Cool thunder and rain intro, an acoustic guitar, synth string, tasteful, a shaker- Not really sure if this is really in time rhythmically?
drums and more orchestra around your nice picking.
A nice easy listening melody evolving around synth arps.
Distorted lead guitar announces the beginning of the 2nd song with the vocals and lyrics.
Yes Patrick, that´s how it is. Nice images here, well sung.
Very good harmonies. Just some minor points. Somehow it sounds as if there was a chorus/flanging effect on the voc. I think I don´t really like it. Seems like it cuts the highs (that I would boost a bit!). Otherwise a very nice voice and pro-singing. I´d just love to have the tone even clearer!
The dist. guitar solo tone is great!
The little soundscape elements fit and don´t bother like natural sounds in song so often do.
Good and solid song here, especially the vocals, the strummed and the electric guitars are great. T
