When I started out I was making exclusively Nerd core, hence the LeftclicK name. I grew into Ellcee, as I started getting my roots in the soil and finally Sprouted to Ron A.D. in the recent years.
My older tracks are highly experimental, most of the beats composed by yours truly. As the tracks become more fresh you will find I recognized my inability to compose beats and started taking public domain instrumentals (often from artists on SoundClick) and laying my lyrics over them.
While the content is dark, and often auto-biographical, I do release some of my more experimental nerd/fun music as well.
As battling was my original draw to Hip-hop, you will find I'm a huge fan of wordplay merged with simplistic beats.
I've done a few shows, mostly guest appearances on others sets - honestly, who's act could I follow and not catch the audience off guard?
I'm feeling anything from the Rhyme Sayers lab Crew (Slug Idea Abilites Brother Ali, Adeem, Murv etc), Pharo Monch is an incredible linguist, Cage has some Heat on 'Hells Winter'... my MC needs a vocab that can rival my own...
