My cohort Black Tech aka The Technician is also hear on Soundclick. He is the one who hip me to this soundclick movement. This will give me more inspiration open my musically gifted ear to other cats music.Peace
Double M Music Group is like no other hailing from Dallas Tx. Coming from the southern hemisphere of the hip hop world. We have influences from all coast. We feel that we are starting a new "Mental Movement" music. We want and will be here for longevity and not the one hit wonders that plague the music industry today. The watered down rap music is starting to dwindle and loose its light slowly but surely. We want to make sure that we are here to stand the test of times. When its time for real artistic music to hit the main stream again we will be on the front line.

My musical influences range from Ella Fitzgarld to Ol'Dirty bastard. Im probably one of the few young hip hop heads that can find the soul and rhyme in all sort of musical genres. Just to drop a few names and groups: Ottis Redding, Etta James, RZA, Wutang Clan and Wutang Affiliates, Talib Kwali, Mos Def, Outkast (the real kings of the south) Goodie Mob, Scarface, UGK, The Roots, Dr Dre, 2pac, M.U.R.S, Blue Sky Black Death, 50s music, 70s music, Luther Vandross, Donny Hathaway, Common, 9th Wonder, Little Brother, Khrysis, The whole Justus League, Brand Nubian, Buckshot, Kyane West, Alchemist, Valkill, Teddy Pendergrass, Strange Fruit Project, Nicolay, Nas, Dead Prez, Lupe Fiasco, Joell Ortiz, J DILLA etc..........
Garageband, Fruity loops, tin cans, kids beating on walls everything sounds like music to me .....etc..........
This disposable hip hop is fading fast. People are hungry for substance.
