Hi and thanks for stopping by. Sorry there's nothing new here, but I'm currently without internet access. It may be a while before I get it up and running again, but when I do have a chance to update, I'll be posting some new and better recordings. Thanks again to everyone who has stopped in. Cheers and beers. -Ash-
Ash Asylum originally began as a solo project. Finding that it was becoming harder to write music alone and unable to play live gigs, lead singer and guitarist, Ash, began looking for new band members. In April of 2004, Azo answered Ash's ad from a local guitar shop. They began collaborating over the next few months but it wasn't until September that things really started to take a turn. Summerhill Studios in Cairo, GA was giving away a free, one song, demo recording session. Determined not to let the offer pass him by, Ash began searching for more band members to record with. Mark was soon added as the official drummer. The band is currently looking for a full-time bassist. The studio mix of "Alcohol" has recently been added to the rotation on X101.5's "Local's Only" show in Tallahassee.
Live shows are on hold while the band gets organized with new material and reherses.
"Listen to each part of the song...I'm sure you'll pick out each of our influences." -Ash-
