First we need to become immortal and colonize our solar system. Soon enough there's dislocated joint funk, eroding the stones in your head. Here is another bright, trippy and massive collection of work exceeding the standards of the Psycho Skeletons. The tracks on this album are ordered chronologically the way they were made, two years of Basil Storey's keyboard difficulties. At the time his work on A-1 Hospital Food kicked off the Relate sessions, his main keyboard (a Kurzweil PC3K8) had already been struck by a power surge from a sabotaged outlet. An imposter synth repairman was hired, whose actions were a complete waste of time and money. Too poor for any proper repairs by then, Basil continued to use the instrument in a challenging partly-disabled state, with not all of its functions available and the thing was not a breeze to deal with. He kept working this way until track 15 - Veto was half done, when the Kurzweil gave in and would no longer even power-on. Rather wisely, Basil had not sold his older instruments and was able to use them in a more determined and motivated way than ever before. You don't need to be a recording engineer to notice the change from track 15 onward to the end of the album. If the earlier stuff had a "clear" sound, the later stuff is "opaque". Other subjects covered by this music are the noteworthy moments in day-to-day life; and health issues, such as a course of rabies needles administered to Basil when he had a fight with a large brown bat in his kitchen, as well as continued eye strain from the retina problem that so influenced the previous Psycho Skeletons album, Ideas Man.

Even when you are aware of what's going on, they will choose to maintain the fiction. Dishonesty. They won't just doubt you, they will actively make an effort to stop you. It's the Bully Mentality you are all too familiar with, and if you do not accept this it won't change a thing. That's the world we live in, but it's no reason to be down in the dumps.
