Dancing Hobos
Edgy folk rock. Alternative Americana. Stylish southern AAA. Same old song and dance under the guise of reinventing the freaking wheel.
The band was formed by singer/songwriter Kevin Bridges, bassist Art Mauney, and guitarist Dan Parker. Rounding out the current line-up is John Burn on drums and Lori Dalton doing percussion and vocals.
The Dancing Hobos released their first CD in 2001. On MP3.com, "Angel of Love" has been #1 on the national MP3 Americana chart. The band has
also held the top three spots on the North Carolina folk-rock and Americana charts. In 2002 the Hobos released their second CD "Sacrifice", an all acoustic recording that showcases some of the roots and influences of the band.
The live show is always a very passionate performance and truly shows the diversity of the group's music. Original music and a great collection of cover songs make the Dancing Hobos a live act that never disappoints. Now a respected regional act, the Hobos have played festivals, clubs, colleges, live radio appearances, and original music showcases across the southeast.
