Negysoros - Four-liner Negysoros - Four-liner

Short song on what distress gives birth to beauty.

Experimental

We are a 3-piece band from Budapest, Hungary. Most of the stuff we play has never been heard before. We use any genre and style to accompany our quite eccentric lyrics. All members of the band are responsible for the lyrics. As for the musics, they are mostly composed by me, with recent exceptions that give me much pleasure. Attila - Bass & Backing Vocals, computer sound editing Gabor F - Voice, noises, percussion Csati - Guitar, vocals, computer sound editing
Band/artist history
I started my noise project in 2004, which eventually resulted in me playing 1-2 live shows. I have mixed in some musical elements and at that point I realized that I cannot play them all by myself, so I started looking for bandmates. Inviting Attila was a natural choice, since we went to the same technical school, during and after that time taking part in many musical/noise activities together. Gabor wanted a band to accompany his lyrics. He was recommended to me by my friend Zoltan Szabo who wrote 2 of our lyrics. He also gave us some good advices on which paths to take, what we should take into consideration etc. before we even knew this was going to be serious. So, we joined our twisted imaginary forces in 2005 and play together since.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We played a concert in Prague's Club Cross, in Holesovice, back in the noise days. The audience was receptive and everyone was friendly. That festival was the loudest thing that I ever heard, probably. If you are looking for musical extremities, do not be afraid to get acquainted with the Czech youth. Since then, we played only one concert that was conducted correctly, after a few blunders we drew back to the rehearsal room for cca. 2 years of revision and much practice. Now we hope to be able to entertain the audience with a music that has a message.
Your musical influences
I started with noise, the influence of which has not left us since. Bands that have influenced me in this genre: Guilty Connector, Runzelstirn & Gurgelstock, FCKN'BSTRDS. (Within noise, these projects fall so far from each other that their comparison would be like that of Slayer, Zvuki Mu & Drahdiwaberl.) Attila is certainly influenced by Weather Report. I am certainly influenced by King Crimson. Yet we fall very far from them, both for being a bit clumsy and much more noisy. Think of a cut-up style punk rock band, who on occasion sing in elegiac couplets and in general have a schizoid approach to music... but still, we have some self-criticism and a realistic overview on what we can play to people.
What equipment do you use?
5-string Bass, electric (sometimes acoustic) guitar, notebook, percussive instruments, objects that will supposedly sound good when hit.
