This song is a new version of the song I first recorded with Craig Hansen and Steve Schultz back in 1985. Craig played lead guitar on both versions.
A Winter's Night
This is an old-fashioned melancholy ballad. People who live alone were on my mind during the pandemic. For so many it was hard to connect with others during that time. This song reflects that sense of isolation.

For as long as I can remember, music has been a passion of mine. While playing for a live audience is great fun (most of the time), I've always had a special interest in recording -- both the technology and the process itself. These days I don't play gigs any more, but I enjoy writing and recording music for others to hear online.
