DeVora was a "Delilah" in a Boston rock band in the 80's (see artist Delilah Clark).
After a drug OD and near death, she surrendered her life to the God Who saved her, and started writing Christian music in the 90's.
After marrying a rabbi in 2017, she started writing Jewish rock music and Scripture songs as DeVora Cohen.
DeVora has been in many bands since the 80's.
Drugs made a lot of her past a blur ... MPC & the Instigators was the last rock band she was in when she OD'd and gave her life to God for the second chance.
She now records as a solo artist known as DeVora Cohen.
My favorite place to play was the Rathskeller in Copley Square (Boston). I opened for Joan Jett in the 80's. I remember her cool sneakers ... everything else turned into a blur.
The Beatles were my musical foundation. I love the energy in the band, Third Day, as well as The Newsboys, Crystal Lewis, and Chris Tomlin, and I enjoy listening Jewish Rock Radio!
Gibson Les Paul guitar and a Roland Cube Street amp.
Got married in 2017! YEAH GOD! Please share my songs in your playlists and streams. This helps artists like me to be found in the sea of music: https://www.devoracohen.org
