Andrés-Marcos Revellado Martin is a Spanish multi-instrumentalist born in Locarno Switzerland. Began playing classical guitar at the age of 10 and started playing gigs in rock bands at the end of the 80s as electric bassist. In 1990 moved to Lausanne to study double bass, electric bass, piano and drums at the local jazz school and at the conservatory of music of Monteux. In the following years played in every sort of jazz related group got also involved in ensembles playing latin music like flamenco, bossa nova and salsa. Two years were in big part dedicated working with theatre companies, and exploring more experimental and contemporary forms of improvised music combined with theatre.
Then, in the late 90s, fell in love with electronic music, attracted from the freedom and the infinite ways to explore. The interest for jazz and improvised forms of music is still intense in his actual electronic projects, where improvisation plays a big role in the composition process. The resulting sound can be described as an acoustic approach to electronic music. Since 2004 his residence is Zurich from where he performs as hardware/software liveact and works as producer. Releases are available at horseplay, multi vitamins, unoiki, bleepsequence, miniatura and stereo-type.
