The F.O.E.S. (Fulfulling Our Empty Souls), specializing in music production of all genres: Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B/Neo-Soul, Jazz, Gospel, Alternative, etc... Our production team consists of 3 producers/songwriters: Lorenzo "Lowekey" Woods, Marvin "Likewise" Muhammad and Joshua Woods a.k.a J. Woods. Together we combine our skills to produce some of the most innovative, uplifting, high quality music ever created. We started our journey in the late 80's & early 90's as a rap duo called N.O.P (Nation of Power) with Likewise as the thought provoking, intellectual lyricist with Lowekey as the emmensely talanted DJ/Producer. Our sound was distinctively different and impresive to the liking of many local artists that we have had the pleasure of working with in the studio. We've collaborated with many talented local artists such as: Proof of D-12 (R.I.P.), Mudd of the legendary 5 Elements, Miz Korona, Cardier and Caznova, and the one and only Mo Master of Mo Master Studios in Downtown Detroit, just to name a few. As time moved on, we emerged from a rap duo into a two-man songwriting/production team called The F.O.E.S under Musically Speaking Entertainment with a special flavor of old school R&B, Smooth Jazz, Neo-Soul and hard hitting Underground Hip-Hop. In 2004, J. Woods came aboard completing the trio songwriting/production team, brings his creative head-bangin' Hip-Hop and smooth flowing R&B sound that can exceedingly contend with any of today's music genres. Now with the genius music and songwriting prowess of The F.O.E.S., we are destined to become one of the most recognized and respected music production/songwriting teams in history.
