JTM is a one person project (by now). Its first aim is to experience the free creation of music with no previous intention. As JTM's music might be considered inside the progressive rock scene, its influences are a big variety, so it is not intended that any partiuclar song sounds like another one or like certain style, but guitar is the first element here and conducts the whole developement of all songs.
I have been playing guitar for about ten years now, but it has been only recently when I first made up my mind and started writing as seriously as I can. Up to this moment, I have only written two songs I consider valuable; there will be more soon.
Not yet, as JTM is a one person project right now. I would like in a near future, though.
I enjoy progressive rock and post-rock above all music genres. As actual influences, I may say: Pink Floyd, Devin Townsend, God is an Astronaut, Goodbye! You Black Emperor, Dream theater, Steve Vai, King Crimson, Tool, A perfect Circle, Rush, Opeth and many more.
I am using now an Ibanez ICX120 guitar with replaced pickups, a Marshall Valvestate 65R and a Digitech RP6 sound effect; Peavey Milestone III bass through a ART Tube MP preamp.
