Local Geneva, NY Rock Band
Formerly Known as 30 Stones. We needed to change our name due to another band who already had it. There is still a thing called "respect". We have been playing as a group for over a year and have relied on covers. Finally starting to put together originals that a few of us have been working on independently. Would rather have people criticize something original as opposed to loving how well we may cover someone else's songs.
Yes. Upstate New york. Would like to be able to get out of the area. Working on it. Best moment for us was playing a downtown party in Geneva, NY (our home)to kick-off a weekend festival. They closed of a section of the downtown, allowing people to party in the street. We played from the second story storefront of a local business. They took out the windows so it was wide-open. We were told that we played before a crowd of 1500-2000 people, which we had never experienced. It was a unique experience for us and the city itself.
Rock and Roll - that covers a pretty wide spectrum in our minds. Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers, Metallica, Dave Matthews, etc. etc. I believe that you can find music in all different styles/genres. Take a little bit of everything and relate to your style. make it your own. There is a great beauty in music in that in can always suit your mood.
