FourMinuteMile is rock. No fancy clothes. No pretense.
Blend riff-heavy stadium anthems with fine-tuned modern rock instrumentation, add high-energy performance, and youll get a San Francisco favorite thatll move crowds with music, not showboating. Evolving from the post-metal and grunge molds of Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, and Alice In Chains, FourMinuteMile has developed a sound that recalls their influences yet remains influential on its own.
"Carey Head (lead vocals, guitar), Kevin Weber (drums), Mhyk Monroe (guitar, vocals), and Mike Jobak (bass) formed FourMinuteMile in the summer of 2001. Since then theyve released two EPs and a full-length album, while performing alongside national acts like Dredg, Strata, The Valley Arena, and Eleventeen. Anchored by Heads soaring tenor vocals, the bands crunching guitar melodies and hard-hitting backbeats boil rock music back down to its purest, no-nonsense form.
Though well known as must-see live act, FourMinuteMile released their EP I Learned It from Watching You in 2002 to rave reviews. Contagious intensity (PerformerMag.com) perhaps best describes the explosive tracks on this record, which secured the bands strong fanbase in Northern Californias indie scene." -from official bio by Dave Kim.

We play anywhere our van will take us. Some highlights have included opening a sold out show for Bay Area heroes Dredg, opening for the Burden Bros (ex Toadies/Ministry/Rev Horton Heat) in Las Vegas, selling out of merch playing in Arizona, and getting two songs on "SurfGirls" on MTV.
Varies again. Riff-driven, very melodic; We're most often compared to Deftones, Quicksand, Queens of the Stone Age, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, and Incubus.
