I play at open mics and on the street as a busker. Yeah, of course i like it... actually I love it! Special moments are when people make nice comments about my own songs as they walk along. The most special moment was when I realized I was part of the world... like when I play out on the street, somehow I'm adding something to the experience of everyone who walks past... it felt like "okay, I'm here now, I have a guitar, and a voice, so I need to do something... anything... oh geeze, I'm totally oversensitive to this whole performing thing... (had a sip of water - and started playing)" It went well. The first coin/bill to drop into my case... Other moments.... when I forget the lyrics.... when my voice cracks. When I close my eyes, I go someplace else in the world, I escape into the sounds... sometimes I open them, and people have stopped to watch me... its like "hey, where did they come from?"
