Well, it's not a band really, just one guy with PC.
I compose symphonic and electronic music, often combined together.
I've started making music about 6 years ago. Almost every track I've composed sounds like a score to some movie, well, it's not a coincidence, some day i would like to write real soundtracks (so if you'd like to make an offer just send me an e-mail: movsd@wp.pl or simply leave a comment on this site).
The greatest influences on my music comes from the modern composers: Hans Zimmer (of course!), John Williams (i love his march music from Star Wars: the Throne Hall or The Imperial March), Elliot Goldenthall (Alien 3, Final Fantasy and much more) James Horner (his score for Aliens was the first album i have ever bought) Jerry Goldsmith (the First Knight, brilliant the Edge and the first Alien) Alan Silvestri (Predator, van Helsing) Ennio Morricone (ALL of his work, i guess my favorite is underestimated Mission to Mars) and much more of brilliant composers (also from earlier centuries: Bach, Mozart, Wagner, Chopin (he was from Poland:), Wieniawski (and so was he)).
I conduct my work... on my pc, these days it's possible and the effects (sound quality) are pretty good. I use a lot of ewql software: symphonic orchestra gold (with xp), symphonic choirs, ra, vapor, bass hardcore and some more. I also like to compose some guitar pieces and combine them witch orchestral sounds (I generally like to mix symphonic music with electronic) as you may hear on the samples.
