I played in a couple bands and groups during which I was introduced to digital music. I still do play in groups but my solo work has changed from acoustic to digital music.
Don't play live yet as I'm still working out the kinks in "performing" electronica live with my limited gear.
I'm generally very open to different types of music; the only genre I can really say I detest is smooth jazz. As far as the bands and groups that influence my electronica, they would definitely include Daft Punk, Capsule (Nakata Yasutaka), Justice, Hadouken, The Prize Fighter Inferno, Plus-Tech Squeeze Box, Nujabes, Koji Kondo, the Shibuya kei and chiptune scene among others.
