The intitial workings of the Deviants started in Isla Vista in 2004, when Whiskers and Mik began playing in the seminal indie lounge band Dr. Girlfriend. After the sudden death their then drummer Lahd Addict (formerly of the Crack Addicts), Tony Romeo was brought in from Underwood Silversexual, a New York based band at the time. After their first Asian tour, the band who initialy called themselves the ROBOTS decided to move Romeo to vocals, and fired their manager who had extorted millions from them off of drug and album sales. While serving time in a Korean jail for possession and statitory rape convictions, the band met their future leader and prophetic namesake : Dirtius Maximus Davidus. Though the band was soon released after their capture thanks to Romeos ability to prove his relation to the second cousin of South Koreas Vice-President, Dirtius Maximus was forced to remain inprisoned in Korea for 5 counts of public drunkeness, 2 counts of public nudity, 7 counts illegal prostitution, and 1 count of heresy. After efforts by both Miks father- then Croatian Ambassador to Gabon- and Whiskers step-mother- intermediary for terrestrial relation with the Nation of Akwaaba- Maximus was freed of his death sentence, but was issued a 420-year intermediary term. Upon their arival back in the United States the band immediately got back to work in studio in order to raise enough money through album sales to buy back the South Korean Government through the Privitization of Govermental Proceedings Dept. -now based in Shanghai- and free their fearless leader.
