We're no longer operational.
Speed Lab was Chris and Charlie the whole time. For awhile, it was Chris, Charlie and Ashley, or Chris, Charlie and Mark, or Chris, Charlie and Matt, and at the end it was Chris, Charlie, and a different Matt, and that's the way we like to remember it. We played thirteen shows across California and Arizona between August of 2001 and October of 2002.
We always enjoyed making white noise and getting shut down.
We were known to cite (and occasionally blatantly rip off) Drive Like Jehu, Slint, Unwound, Fugazi, Mogwai, Hum, Sonic Youth, Kepler, Roadside Monument, Cursive, Shellac, Jawbreaker, June of 44, Radiohead, and Smart Went Crazy.
