John D'Amato is one of those rare guitarists that have managed to combine amazing chops with amazing feel. John's ability to bring a song to the next level with his incendiary yet tasteful solos has led him to:

In addition, as a member of several regional acts, John has had the opportunity to share the stage with: Tammy Wynette, Diamond Rio, Pam Tillis, Waylon Jennings, Trace Atkins, Brooks and Dunn, Asleep At The Wheel and many others. John began playing, at the age of 5, on a guitar that his sister bought but never played. His father would not pay for lessons so he taught himself how to play. At age 15 John began studying jazz guitar and was the first guitarist invited to attend an experimental Performing Arts High School to further his musical knowledge. John relocated to Nashville, TN in 2001. Since that time John has produced, co-wrote and contributed all the guitar work for 3 albums on independent labels and is currently producing several new independent artists. John also teaches guitar and has a roster of about 60 students and is a well known and well respected guitar instructor in the Nashville area.
