Mendoza has played in several bands ranging from Rock to Tejano music. He wrote and published his first song at the age of 12. That song entitled "When Will I See You Again" (Five Star Music Masters-Boston) was purchased by a major label, and encouraged him to write more. Most noted for his soulful vocal sound, his biggest success has come in the R&B and Hip-Hop market charting a number 1 hit "Let Me Be Your Guy" in the United Kingdom that actually enjoyed a six month ride on the top 40 there. After a successful stint as one of three front men for the Southern California band called "Cultural Diversity" in the early 1990's, Mendoza went solo and moved to Texas where he picked up his Spanish/Mexican roots music again and eventually recorded a single in 2005, called "Peligrosa" with award winning Tejano band Los JalapeƱos that is still getting wide radio airplay in the US and Mexico. Mendoza is currently recording tracks for a new album called "No More Questionz" including the highly anticipated single called "I Can't Get Enough" that is produced by 3-Time Grammy Award winning super producer Urbano B from Urb Records in Texas. This song will feature Urb Records recording artist Tron on the track and is due out very soon. "Gotta Have U" is a Hip-Hop song written and performed by Mendoza featuring long time friend Nexxis, aka Larry "Tank" Jones and has been selected for placement on a new Mix Tape to be distributed and released by Koch Records in February of 2009. Most recently, Mendoza has started writing Spanish music again and has been working with Aldo Del Gado from Mexico on a track called "Te Quiero Tanto Ahora", Gilde Flores from GilFlo Productions (MTV Fame) on some Cumbias and Margarita "Baby" Villa from Mexico as well as other producers from Europe. Mendoza is working hard to finish up his first of two scheduled releases for 2009 so be on the lookout for these CDs. One will be Cumbias and Tejano, and the other an R&B, and Hip-Hop adventure. Mendoza is currently scheduling for 2009 throughout the USA and Mexico so watch for tour dates near you! For Bookings contact Josh "Baby Boy" Rivas at 520.709.2363
