With her amazing voice, her fun and unpretentious rock songs, and her electrifying and sexually charged live performance, Erin Evermore represents all that is sorely lacking from the music world today. On stage, the 19 year-old beauty's charming innocence immediately contrasts with her unabashed sexuality; while her playful, flirtatious spirit is checked by a refreshing honesty in her delivery. Her band is comprised of NYC rock veteran Jimi K. Bones (Lead Guitar & background vocals), the lovely Alison Jones (Bass, background vocals), the powerful Aaron Brooks (Drums) and the digital wizard, Ghost (keyboards and sequencing). An Erin Evermore show is a feast for the eyes as well as the ears!!!
Erin was discovered in the honey section of a Newtown, CT supermarket by legendary songwriter/producer Mike Chapman (Blondie, Pat Benatar, the Knack). By the time they reached the produce section, Chapman had been completely taken by her sexy look and great voice and wasted no time getting her into the studio. Together, they began working on recording an arsenal of anthemic, fun rock songs about parties, sex, and more sex. Very excited to get Erin heard, Mike quickly brought Erin to the attention of record industry pioneer Terry Ellis (co-founder of Chrysalis Records who made stars of Blondie, Billy Idol, Jethro Tull, etc.). Ellis immediately signed Erin to his new label, TigerStar Records, and in Jan. '99 her first album, "...and ever ...and ever" was released in Japan, where it gained major support from Tower Records, HMV, and Tokyo FM - the country's largest radio network. In May and June '99, Erin and her band hit the road to Tokyo and Osaka where they played some live dates in support of their new EP "Love Wounds". She is currently performing regularly with her band for her US fans in the clubs of New York City and beyond.
Chapman has just completed production of Erins US debut CD, an EP entitled "Babyphetamine," which will be released in August 1999. The band is currently on a nationwide tour with legendary pop-rockers, Duran Duran.
