John Hoffman is exactly what it sounds like: a kid recording random sounds he made on the keyboard...=)
I fell in love with the piano when I was very young. I never took lessons until my 14th birthday, when my mom gave me my first lesson with Mrs. Sanderson, a local piano teacher (who is blind by the way), as a present. I still take lessons from her, and I still wait until the hour before the lesson to practice.
I love to improvise, and that's basically all I can do. I can't read music very well.
My dad, George Winston, Vladimir Horowitz, Guster, Coldplay, Anyone and everyone who can play the piano.
Clavinova Electric Piano. For now that's it...
I know this stuff isn't all that good, I'm just experimenting with exposing some of my music to the public and seeing (ok, reading) reactions from people. Try and think of these "songs" more as "ideas" or "rough drafts", since they all are usually just really long repetitions of a single theme, and since I have no real ability to write actual songs...(because that would require actual knowledge of music theory). If you feel like writing something, please please do. Just promise me you'll be brutally honest.
