Bricks. Don't know the name, well soon you'll be real familiar with it. This hip hop artist has been rhyming since the age of 8. Raised in Louisville's Southwick projects, Bricks(nee Han Glenn) had the upbringing of the average young black male in the hood. Non existent father, disconcerned mother dealing with her own demons, gangs, and drugs. He learned early on he was talented with words and after joining a few teenage rap groups, which eventually folded, he became a solo act. Through local demos and mixtapes made with his brother, he caught the attention of his cousin and local entrepanuer Terron Toney. Toney used his connections in music and business and created the group Brick Gang. Members consist of Bricks, 22 year olds Casino and Kid White, and 21 year old Shot. A subsequent mixtape followed which sold 3500 copies in Louisville and Southern Indiana. Capitalizing on a growing buzz released his solo mixtape, Draft Day. With radio ready songs like "Line em' up" and street cuts like "Get it Poppin", Draft Day surpassed expectations and sold nearly 5000 copies.
