From the liner notes of the new "KURS" CD ALBUM ON DISCOS VEVEOS:
"DEEP SCHULZZ resides in Berlin and there he lets his phat bass have an absolutely inspiring symbiosis with impellent and nervous House-Music, the result of which sometimes is downright inflaming. At the same time a solid elegance pervades the whole thing delivering often enough cinematic moments.

System and virtuosity however are immanent, the consequence of which are an immense tightness and the aforementioned inflaming effect. Cranking and majestic sometimes the bass plays a rhythmical melody like in the album's title-track KURS or in the jazzy URBANILAICUM, then it may come sequenced and staccato-wise like in GOLD CONTAINER... the grand omnipresence of this extremely likable instrument leaves your ears stimulated the whole album through.."
