We're still looking for a bassist, but so far we consist of a vocalist/guitarist, a guitarist, and a drummer.
I, LeoN, was born with a handicap: I was born missing two of the fingers on my left hand. Since the day of my birth, people have been rediculing the idea of me playing guitar, and that's what got me going, I think. Since everyone said I couldn't do it, I just went ahead and did. Singing has also always been fun. For fun, I applied for a practice cell in the local studio, one that has years of waiting lists. Three years later, having forgotten about the application, I find a letter saying it was mine. I immidiately, attending music collage at the time, accumulate a small crew of people, some whom stayed and some who I changed later on, to play with me here. About three months ago, a friend of my aunts best friend calls me, and introduces himself as the guy who produced Leonard Cohen, and says that he wants me to have some stash he has lying around. He brings over 6K worth of equipment, amps, mics, speakers, and tells me to call him when I think we're good enough. We have yet to call, but we probably will, in a years time or so.
Sure, but mostly locally. It's always fun, but the most fun when getting payed, or when having an extatic (drunk too, perhaps) crowd. You feel.. alive.
Bands like Muse, Radiohead, Tom Waits (his half psychadelic stuff, like swordfishtrombones), Dream Theater, Mogwai, and their likes. Creative, unique, and very good at what they do.
