The Mighty Have Fallen
The Mighty Have Fallen
1 Track
Among all the chaos today, Music is something the entire world can agree on. There is not just one style of music and we do not only like only one style, so we inadvertently branch out into a long range of genres.
Band/artist history
The band started as a three-piece, featuring Matt Babstock as singer, Mikey Vaters as bassist and Josh Gallagher as drummer, in March 2007. They assumed the title Hisler. Shortly thereafter, Matt Porter joined as guitarist. The band then changed its name to Tranquil Chaos. Song productivity was high, with dozens of short, simple, catchy and mostly humourous ditties composed in several weeks. Over the summer, work was focused on a home recording studio and very little new material was produced. The band began to write more serious music, changing the name yet again to The Mighty Have Fallen. In November, Matt Porter, Mikey and Josh formed The Puppy Kickers, welcoming rhythm guitarist John Frison, to maintain the humourous aspect of the old Tranquil Chaos. In December, Matt Babstock left the band due to musical differences. Then, all of the remaining members' musical attention was focused on The Puppy Kickers. In January, The Puppy Kickers disbanded so the three members of The Mighty Have Fallen could return to that band and John could explore other projects with other musicians. Several singers were considered before The Mighty Have Fallen welcomed Eric Simms, a friend of the band, as their new vocalist.
