I write, perform and record all my music alone using Ableton Live in my home studio.
I see a music "renaissance", where musicians create songs and albums start to finish without the need of a rented studio, studio musicians, producers and the music industry. The new musicians play guitar, record using Pro Tools, Sonar and Ableton in their homes, sing, and do it all without the need to drain their pockets paying for help, or relying on a major label. I am excited to see the new musical Da Vincis, Michealangelos and the like show the beauty of the pursuit of creating art that is multi-faceted.
