Hide 'n' Seek

Look at life with the question of stronger nations or entities wanting to control weaker ones. Is it right & what can be done?
The artist, David Adams, has been active in the music industry for 7 years, expressing his style of music on the club scene all over Europe. The journey that has taken David to where he is today has been a long, winding and eventful one, full of mistakes and regrets but also happy moments and right decisions. Finally, after years of soul-searching and career detours, he has found his place in the world, the place where he wants to be. That place is with his music, the music of Arcarnum. As a child, David grew up in a family environment of stifling negativity; he was not allowed to shine, to explore the positive possibilities in his life that were there for the taking. Instead, he found himself constructing an unhealthy shield, a coping mechanism for the fear, misunderstanding and lack of support that he had come to live with on a daily basis. The only release he had from this world of pain and unhappiness was music. He wrote his first song at the age of six and performed it aged seven. Only then did he get the support and approbation that he had so craved up until that point. He thought then and there that he was destined for a career in music, but after a while lost faith in his musical abilities and lost his hunger for a career in music. He ended up working in sales, and became quite successful, but his love for music never diminished, and after a while, he felt that something was lacking in his life. He took stock of his situation and decided to pursue his original dream of a successful musical career. It meant him sacrificing a lot of things he had come to take for granted and a lot of material comforts, but David knew that if he was going to make it as an artist, he would need to give his all to his music, to do whatever it would take to take his music international. Davids friends did not believe he was cut out for the challenge, but he had vast stores of inner strength and self-belief. He knew he could succeed. His first few steps in the business were promising. He debuted at number one on the independent soul charts at one time and was doing dozens of personal appearances, but as soon as things were looking up he would be confronted with a setback. Eventually, after many aborted attempts, and promising interludes in the UK and Spain, he hooked up with a producer, Juan Sueiro, who was in tune with what he was trying to achieve and understood the capabilities of his voice and style. Together they created this first album, Time to Fly, a sonic and artistic synthesis of all of Davids varied experiences. The objective in the creative execution is to impart a sense that the listener is being taken on a journey of discovery which leaves them inspired and in a positive frame of mind every time they listen to each track on the album. Which brings him to where he is today. On the cusp of achieving all his dreams, backed up and supported by a team of dedicated people, all working to make Arcarnum a success on the international music scene. Davids faith in himself has taken him this far, while his next journey is only just beginning Arcarnum is more than just a brand or name of a pop music group. It is not about the music or the artist. It is about the meaning, which lies within the words of each song with each lyric purposely directed towards a powerful message designed to open an awareness of self, of positivity and of the interrelation of all things with the ultimate aim of fostering a positive mental attitude and creating a universal collective consciousness.
Anything else?
On the meaning of his first single, Hide n Seek, Arcarnum noted, The world today is so preoccupied with control and manipulation in a belief that the strong will survive and the weak will suffer. This mind set tends to create friction all around us. We have, as a human race, determined our fate in the way in which we approach past and future scenarios. We have a tendency to protect our own interests, instead of giving and sharing with those around us. Hardship befalls those who cannot cope with the consequences that the strong leave behind; this has been our fate for many generations and has been the root cause of the problems that we face in our everyday lives. Will it change? Could it be better? Is this our destiny? Our direction can only be changed collectively.
