The Wolfgang Rebellion is all about having fun with straight up rock n roll! No bullshit, no effects, and take no quarter! Welcome aboard! Enjoy the show! This is for you! Rock n roll will never die as long as we're all alive! The WOLFGANG REBELLION is Benjamin Oaks on vocals and guitar, Chris Macknis on drums, Ryan Naus on bass and guitar and Mike Nase on bass. With old school rock n roll energy, a punk rock spirit, hiphop fun, ragga and r&b "riddim", The WOLFGANG REBELLION is a crowd favorite.
Band/artist history
The WOLFGANG REBELLION is a fresh music project that started in September 2007. Chris Macknis and Benjamin Oaks were rehearsing regularly as a live band to backup hiphop emcee BoomTheorie (aka Androidd869- The Warrior Poet). In November they started reworking old songs from when Chris and Ben were in the band The Killswitch (later Silence) and writing new material. Ben moved from bass back to guitar. They were then joined by Ryan Naus, who was in punk bands with Ben as a teenager.
