As Dash would put it, he "...started rapping for the wrong reasons...!!!" Dash is a street bred, multi-stylistic lyricist originally from North Philly who grew up in a house full of MUSICIANS. He's been rapping since before he could speak!!!! His upbringings and naturally bashful persona led him to be an introvert throughout his early school years. As he soon got sick of the shadows and hungered for attention and popularity, Dash soon sought out a way to gain the spotlight. He decided to join a popular rap group in school based on their booming popularity. In no time Dash stood out as the premier talent in the group. His potential was undeniable. From there he began battling other artist in the city of Philly consistently, ripping opponents from every section. He has received the wisdom of those around him and diversified his style, writing full-length songs and performing them at various venues.
Since then, Dash has grown as a man and a musician, writing and producing multiple careers worth of hot music with longevity and substance. His flow remains rugged, yet smooth; his swagger remains gangsta, yet educated gentleman; his style remains indescribable because it is so DIVERSE and ORIGINAL. He has been compared to such artists as Twista, Jay-Z, Nas, Beanie Siegel and Li'l Wayne. All he says in regard to himself is
