A few years ago, a dream was conceived...In the form of a dream. The dream started small, like mini sized gummy bears. Well the mini sized gummy bear dream that was dreamed up in the form of a dream was to start a band that would take the music industry and the world by surprise. The dream, dreamed up in the form of a dream was dreamed up by Mikhael (formerly known as Mikhael pronounced as Michael before he discovered his name was pronounced differently).
Mikhael then shared his dream dreamed up in the form of a dream with Marcos Ricardo Storm Hughes Martinez Perez III (known to us and the rest of the world as Ricardo). Together hairless (Mikhael) and hairy (Ricardo) began to dream more dreams dreamt up in the form of dreams. Eventually Daniel Mendez (also known as Dan Mendez) showed up in the picture. Befriending first Mikhael then Ricardo, the three began to dream. Dreams were slowly becoming reality when a young lad named Jack Bingle joined the "Band." Together only having about three years of slightly musical experience, Ricardo majoring in music at college, Mike having had guitar lessons, Dan basically learning guitar from the internet and "trial and error" efforts, and Jack playing drums his whole life with his father who is a professional drummer, they embarked. Soulkore took its place as the band name, representing a unique musical mixture of soul, punk, emo, hardcore, and r&b. All hydrogenically bonded with blues and jazz. Focusing more on relationship with each other and above all else God, musical creations went slow. But it all paid off. Soon the boys began practicing for whole days at a time, basically jamming and creating songs. With six songs in the bag, Soulkore recorded a demo titled A Faint Fire In Us. The EP only featuring four of the six songs, turned out better than expected. Taking more time off from music to focus on personal differences, school, and God, time for music was limited to "John and His Bed", praise and worship, and bedroom hit singles. Out of nowhere a good friend of Soulkore jumped onto the band wagon with Soulkore as a new Guitarist/Pienist...His name be Sean, it is pronounced as Shawn but spelt irishly, kinda like Mikes name but not Irish, Mikes name is more on the side of islander/Guamish with the spelling and pronunciation and all...but furthermore. Growing together as more than brothers, in a totally non-homosexual way, the story of creation, reality, and dreams dreamed in forms of dreams continues. Soulkore is now speeding at full throttle to make their dreams dreamed up in the form of mini-sized gummy bear dreams come true. Soulkore, a Revelation 20:10 to Satan and John 3:16 to the world. Amen.
