Folk Rock

Hello Again! The musicians playing on the first two tracks are Big Peter White, Guitars. Tony Collier, Lead Vocals and Bass. Frank Hall, Drums. Acid Rain, features Tony Collier along with myself and friends. The song was recorded live in a single take with no overdubs on a old Teac A3440 and a 6 channel Teac mixer with Yamaha FX.
Band/artist history
I have played in numerous bands over the years. Now! it's a Blues/Rock band, Called ASSAMARRA. We play a mixture of covers and our own songs, it's funny how you get blank faces when you lay one of your own new songs on the audience and then watch them warm to it.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Now i play in the Pubs and clubs of Cumbria (The English Lake District). I play in a band called ASSAMARRA with fellow Soundclick artist Barney (Check him out, he's my top listed friend) and a couple of other friends. We mostly play Blues/Rock covers and our own material.
Your musical influences
The Guitarists who have influenced me are:- David Gilmour, Tony TS McPhee, Neil Young, Rory Gallagher, Peter Green, Cliff Gallup, Otis Rush. But anything in the Minestrone music soup has touched me in some way.
What equipment do you use?
On the first two tracks it's a Left handed Strat straight into a Marshall rig. Now! I still use the Strat and Marshall, along with a Casio MG 510 midi guitar (only as a guitar and it's superb), a Tanglewood TW45NS acoustic guitar, a modified Ibanez Lawsuit set up in open G tuning for slide work, Fatar midi keyboard with Yamaha Tone Generators for Keyboards, and a Zoom MRS-802 HDD 8 Track with AKG and Radio Shack PZM mics and a Lap top running Audacity 1.3.7.
Anything else?
I've noticed how live music in my area is now more popular than ever with lots 0f venues bands to play, the future looks good.
