I started playing guitar in college (at LSU), began writing songs for retreats... and the rest just kind of snowballed from there.

Yes I play live and love every minute of it. You never know what's going to happen and often you have split seconds to make decisions... I was performing a song in front of a Catholic Bishop once... and about 800 other people... singing a song I had written and had sung a million times... I got to the last verse and about 1 or 2 seconds before starting that verse, my mind went blank and I couldn't remember the words. I trusted in the Holy Spirit to bail me out... immediately I sang out whatever came to me... it turned out to fit the song perfectly and no one (except those who knew the song well) was the wiser. What an adreneline rush!!
