Daniel Sjolund started piano lessons at the age of six and was first introduced to digital music production with Magix Music Maker Version 3.0. After many years of experimentation and upgrading, Daniel now commands a professional caliber personal studio with industry standard equipment and software.
Originally trained in classical piano performance, Daniel has always been an avid pianist and digital music arranger. His first year of piano lessons began at St. Joseph's School of Music with Mrs. Evelyn Lee. Even within this brief period of piano and musical education, Daniel had already performed in numerous recitals and became a State Finalist for the Minnesota Music Teachers Association (MMTA) piano competition. In the second and third years, Daniel studied under Lynn Tschudy at Metro Music Studio in Roseville and then with Kim Lange at Northwestern College of Music. In his fourth year, Daniel studied with Michael Galeski in Shoreview until the fall of 2007 and is no longer taking formal piano lessons. Now his musical performance preference has shifted from the live stage to the comfort of the recording studio.
Daniel enjoys many activities such as golf, martial arts, photo editing, soccer, pool, building computers, learning how to play new instruments, traveling, and much more. He has traveled to countries such as France, Switzerland, Germany, Liechtenstein, Italy, Canada, Japan and South Korea (he is half South Korean). Daniel appreciates and wishes to thank his parents, relatives and friends who have continued to love and support him throughout his personal, academic and musical journeys.
