JOHNNIE B DANZY, JR
Johnnie B. Danzy, age 41, from Kershaw, SC, records , composes, sings, and plays his own music. Also, John has written and recorded songs and music for a variety of groups and individuals ranging from gospel to R & B and country.
His love of music as a young child, John started singing in the church choir. He began leading songs, then progressed with singing solos, participating in and sometimes writing programs. During this time, John began teaching himself to play musical instruments and reading music. He later studied advanced music and musical engineering. John also participated in talent contests and won awards while in college. These experiences helped further inspire Johns goals as a musician, composer, performer and engineer.
After college, John began to focus on composing his own music. Being asked to write for other groups, he began to experience the genres of the industry. This began to shape his own style of music. Once John developed his style, his songs were popular with the local radio stations and their listeners. He began to be asked to do live interviews with different radio stations from the region and was accepted by all audiences.
Currently, John is still recording his own music and is working on his next CD; His specialty is gospel. John also helps others record and mix their music, practices with his cousins band and often performs with them for various church programs and for live radio shows.
