Before there was Spoken Wordbefore there was HipHop, Rap, or Rockbefore there was poetrybefore the dinosaurs and the primordial ooze there was a rock (spaceship) (sneeze) (Gods Thought) tossed about the forming Universe like a ping pong ball (spaceship), (sneeze) (Gods Thought)beaten and banged it fell to earth in pieces (landing zone) (point of origin) (Garden of Eden) to drop in the primordial ooze (landing zone) (point of origin) (Garden of Eden). Its minerals and proteins (passengers) (germ) (Sixth Day) mixed with the ooze (landing zone), (point of origin) (Garden of Eden) to forma protozoa (passengers) (ape) (Adam). Evolving into humanity (colonist) (mankind) (society), these minerals and proteins (passengers) (germs) (humans) keep searching (searching) (searching) (searching) for the rest of the pebbles (passengers) (germs) (congregation) that fell from the forming universe (space) (unknown) (heaven). They gather in the back alleys (abduction) (collective conscience) (church) to be with their own Think of us as the pebble that wont return to the rock (unabducted) (mutant strain) (mouse that escaped the Serpent in Garden)

She studied writing at a Four Week Rising Seniors Seminar at Berea College and while at The University of Toledo. Shes performed in Community Theater and performed her poetry at numerous places since 1985. She's had more than 200 poems published in over 50 small press zines. Her influences are, of course, poets: Plath, Bukowski, and just about anyone else she can get her hands on.
Logic Alley came together with the idea that Art should evolve. We try to stay true to that mission by giving every song whatever it needs, but not so much we smother it. Most of our songs are evolutions of someone coming up with an idea and others adding their own part or adding in until a song is born; thats why we play with guest players so often. If there is a "leader" in this band, it is each and every song we put together.
Logic Alley tries its best not to be classified, but we know it's gonna happen. We play rock, funk, jazz, blues, and anything else we can. Some songs will shake the shingles off the roof; others are soft enough to be played in a cafe. We sing. We speak. We have a good time trying to blow your mind to places it may not have gone before.
