The Bad Guy
The flexibility required to adapt in different environments calls for great skills and patience. The King of Oklahoma, better known as ing sThe Bad Guy, has become a master in this ability. Born in the state of Michigan and raised in Oklahoma, The Bad Guy not only learned how to adjust to ever-changing physical surroundings, but also how to survive drastic life situations. Along the way he developed a knack for sharing his experiences through insightful lyrics and a distinctive delivery.
After escapeveral hardships, including being shot and serving time in prison, The Bad Guy discovered that through music, there is salvation. I learned that at any given time, anybody not just the top dog can take everything away from you. You have to depend on yourself. Loosing everything would actually prove to be a blessing. Faced with starting over, The King of Oklahoma found himself in the recording booth where he was able to transform his struggles into something positive. Influenced by artists such as Run DMC, LL Cool J, T.I., B.G. and Jay-Z, he developed a well rounded style that would become his signature sound. His quick witted tongue and confident approach became known as Swag Music. He explains, I feel like Im actually in a different genre. Everybody does hip-hop/rap music; well, I do swag music.
