Coming from the borough of Peter Gunzz, Drag On, Krs-1, & Melle Mel is the newest Bronx rap prodigy DeeMac-aka The Platinum Boy. DeeMac is the personification of a battle rap. He has rapped against inmates, underground MC's, & known underground rappers. Mac has been rapping for only 4-5 years, but he is so vicious that he will cause known rappers & MC's severe trouble. At 19 years old, Mac has basically completed 3 albums as member of the now defunct group Bloodose & about 3 albums as a solo arist, not to mention numerous guest appearances on R & R songs. His rhyme style is Ludacris with a New York accent. Mac is a rap icon in the making. He has the whole package: he has good lyrics, a devastating flow, a powerful voice, & a stage presence that'll bring the ladies to their knees. Mac will appeal to all music & movies lovers down the line. As mentioned earlier, he has the entire package.
DeeMac first started rapping at 16 years old. At that time, he was with local MC, K.L.U. Sheisty. The chemistry wasn't good because KLU was experienced, & Mac was just starting out. So Mac left off to write alone & hone his skills. He was eventually introduced to Cookz, who also happen to be Sha Drama's (Russian Roulette) younger brother. Since he was already writing & Cookz could rhyme, they decided to form a group. They called themselves Bloodose, & came in to the "Attic". Upon completion of their 1st album, DeeMac found himself as an MC & hasn't been stopped since that time. Even underground juggernaut C-Rayz Walz has given Mac the green light. In April 2002, Mac got incarcerated & had to do 8 months on the Island. When he got home in December of 2002, Mac came to the studio on the same day that he was released with 60 songs & a fire in his gut. In March 2003, Cookz left the group Bloodose & Mac became a solo artist. He has since worked with his mentor KLU Sheisty, a song with C-Rayz is in the making, & he has also done a host of songs with Urban Renewal. As of now, he has demos at Bay Boy & Def Jam. Mac WILL be the next "Messiah" of hip-hop. & with the right label behind him, he will NOT be stopped.
DeeMac is from the Bronx, NYC. he's performed in The Dominican Republic, he was also part of the group Felony Fellas. He's now featured in Blaze MC battles & rap ventues all over NYC.

The industry is so fickled nowadays that you have to start from the ground up. Artist Development is unheard of now. So you have to PROVE to major labels that you can maintain a fanbase & build a fanbase w/o their help. it's unfortunate, but it also allows the artist(s) to control their own destiny. Thank you for having URE on Soundlick.com.
