Band/artist history
I started playing piano and clarinet at age 7, began learning other woodwinds in gradeschool, switched to Sax and vocals in high school. In my 20's I played original progressive rock e.g. Genesis, Yes, in clubs all over Hollywood and Los Angeles. Then in my late 20's and 30's I decided to explore fusion jazz, composing and performing on sax and keyboards. I did that for a living for about 11 years, but along the way I became very interested in film and orchestral composition, which is much of what I do now.
