Sure you may have heard of Tupac Shakur, Talib Kweli, Kanye West, and Queen Latifa but who da f*** P. Moses? P. Moses represents the underdawg who is not afraid to speak the truth. P. Moses gives it to you the way you need it, real and raw! P. Moses refuses to be anything other than respected. Whether you are a corporate executive, or an ex-convict P. Moses commands your attention. She is natural born leader. Some may say she is just an angry baby mama, others would say she just aint never scared, but the bottom line is she articulates music in a way that each emotion is felt lyric, by lyric. She can make you move your feet, nod, your head, and touch your heart all at the same time. Precise could be a synonym for her, but bad bitch would be a better one. The daughter of an Jamaican immigrant and civil rights advocate given up just aint in her blood. Despite encountering many obstacles that would break the average person, P. Moses refuses to be broken, because she is unbreakable. She can relate to most people and adapt to any situation, because life hasnt always been a better roses. P. Moses has always embraced music, but began to take writing it seriously after spending a significant amount of time incarcerated. After rapping songs to other inmates, and realizing the effects she had on the black ones, as well as the white ones she knew making music was her purpose in life. Writing her own lyrics is not what makes P. Moses so extraordinary, but being a female having a delivery that is as powerful as Tupac she is definitely in a league of her own. Growing up in Jackson, TN, she became a victim of small town fame, but it has only made her more determined to put her city on the map. Graduating from high school in Memphis, and receiving a B. A. from the University of TN @ Knoxville she represents for the entire state. P. Moses intends to take hip-hop back to the level when an artist has something to say and everyone hears it, because when people are speaking and no one listens a lot of breath is wasted. Thats what I said, That what it is!!!!!(pjm)
