In 1981, Jeff met Ben Logan with The Collin County Band. Then in 1983, Jeff met Billy Boozer from Raleigh, NC. Billy Boozer was a rock guitar slinger...with Jeff's writing/vocals and Billy's hot riffs....they put together The Billy Boozer Band. 1986 - vocalist for the Corner Boys Rock/Blues Band
1988 - Jeff turned back to his roots with a rounded education in music and stage, and with Ben Logan and Rick Dinker they put together Jeff Smithart & County Line.
1997 - Jeff met Dave Young from St Louis MO. , who needed a front man for his band Private Stock.
