Fernando Zaplana (Bandsman) is a guitarist/writer/producer with imagination for pop arrangements and TV-film.
Born in Cartagena, Spain is a songwriter, with about 100 composed and registered songs in several styles like Jazz, Classic, Bossa-nova, Lounge, Symphonic, Disco, Pop, Electronic, Rock, Blues, etc.
Although his main influence is Jazz, his music has the same Mediterranean influences than the author. Many of his songs can be classified as music for films.
He has participated in some Jazz gigs in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Ibiza, highlighting his participation in the 2000 Injuve International Jazz Festival in Ibiza with Notan Big Band.
Several of his songs have been selected for Licensing Contracts by companies in USA, Canada and Australia for TV & Film purposes.
His song Botafoch reached the semi-final status in the 2006 International Songwriting Competition in Nashville USA, in the instrumental category.
His current CD "AUTUMN'S PRELUDE" has so many mood and emotions that emulate from each track and music that must be heard and enjoyed by all age groups.
