Underground Alternative Hip Hop Culture
This is independent Hip Hop Music right here!!!!!!Emceeing since 2002, Sage is Hip-Hop culture reminiscent of Public Enemy or early Ice Cube (before commercialism set in).
Band/artist history
It was during his involvement with 99% Entertainment (Staten Island, New York) from July 1999 until January 2005, that he found his niche as an Intellectual Properties and Contracts Paralegal. Sage began getting involved in writing contracts, party promoting, event planning, and artist development for such groups as Philip Clark, M. Ali, and Gat Bush Born Kings. Sage began writing lyrics in studio sessions with various artists. Emceeing since 2002, Sage is Hip-Hop culture reminiscent of Public Enemy or early Ice Cube (before commercialism set in). Sage has worked with several Producers in Virginia, Maryland, and New York including Troub, Professor Scratch, The Overlord Brunson Honeydew, Andri Dreamy Williams, Austin Humbles, Josh Cubist Tate, Garret Morris, Dread Mighty Sine and Oblivion.. In October 2005, Sage began to record as a member of underground Hip-Hop group Verbal Kin (Featuring Akai Jones, Josh Cubist Tait, Groundwork, and Brandon Word Power McCall). Sage is currently managed by 99% Entertainment and signed to independent label Shakara Entertainment, Incorporated. He is looking to do open mics along the East Coast in New York, Maryland, D.C., and Virginia as well as internet radio. I am interested in protecting the cultural element of music by safe guarding the rights of the independent artist. We must unite and bring our specialties to the table so that we may preserve the cultural element of music. Because it is through music that the revolution will be sparked.
