Long before the term "tribute band" was coined we were a band playing predominantly Hendrix material - so we were a tribute band!
Our plan was never to replicate the stuff - just to play the songs in the same spirit.
We only ever played live, even in the studio!
For you guitar heads - it's a (modded) Squier Strat played into a 1970's Marshall 50W bass head driving a 2X10 cab via a Jim Dunlop cry-baby wah, a Rotovibe and a DOD overdrive.
