Jerime McCastle & Shane Lowe, local friends, began rhyming together since August of 2003 when the two were attending Cleveland State Community College. While going to class off and on, talking to women, playing ping pong, and working jobs; Shane and Jerime managed to orchestrate an audio mix tape and exposed it to the local neighbors. Thanks to the partnership with Jarred Sharp, Shawn Lowe and other contributors for distribution, the crew received positive feedback and the streets have been patiently waiting for more records.
Shane Lowe and Jerime McCastle both attended Bible Way Church Of God in Christ on 6th and Dooley street in 1995. During the 90s this particular section in town was known for notorious gunplay, robberies, drugs, prostitution, and murder crimes. Watching the young gangsters selling drugs making money, driving new cars, sporting chains, watches, cell phones, having 3-6 girlfriends on the side, and then in jail; Jae and Shane did not want that type of life for themselves. The two participated in numerous church activities and functions involving with music, drama, and the youth. In the summer of 2001 Jerime left to attend school at Walker Valley while Shanes popularity status sky rocketed at Bradley Central High School because of his unique style. Now the duo joined forces again to establish MALO ENTERTAINMENT for a follow up from their last mix tape. Coming soon, The Hoe vs. the Gentleman.
We both have performed in the public eye and exciting about getting more lime light.
