A move to Texas took me from a band I had played with all my adult life (on the side). I decided to go solo acoustic and play the originals I had done with my band and write some new songs.
I play dinner concerts when the mood strikes, playing/singing originals and doing some comedy.
Band/artist history
Played in bands on the South Jersey Shore since the late 60's, mostly with the same group of people since college days. We survived metal and disco playing new country/country rock/southern rock/my originals, only band that was doing it.
Now, after a move and two year layoff, I am a solo originals act with some comedy.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play dinner concerts, benefits in the North Dallas area when the mood strikes, about once a month
Your musical influences
Steely Dan, Eagles, Poco, Byrds, Kansas, and as I grew older classical and Broadway.
What equipment do you use?
Martin Acoustics, Genz Benz amps, Presonus channel strips, Shure condensors, ProTools
Anything else?
I love my wife, Beverly and our two Labs.

This song is not an a capella.. it should not be listed under the acoustic vocals genre.
Awesome song Rich! It's great to hear you playing and singing again.

Hi Rich. I really like your song "Oklahoma Twister". Excellent playing and very heartfelt singing. Sorry that it was based on personal events.
Nice job -- this is a good song well played.
