Hi,Im JpTyler, Ive been playing guitar since 1967. I grew up in Tampa Florida, Graduated Hillsborough High School in 1973. Joined my first band,The Matris Bros Band in 1976.Then realized I had to tighten up my playing. I joined Shotgun in 1978,and played with them for 8 months,then in 79 my drummer and I formed Back Stage Smoke We were playing the North Nebraska Strip in Tampa (where the Southern Rock Clubs were) and were pretty successful. In 2000 I started recording original music, and My Album was released in the summer of 2003. I added some tracks to it,and re titled it Muscle Guitar The Album was released on March 8,2011. My new band Top Dead Center is recording 8 new original songs @ The Ozark Mountain Sound Shack The new album will be released in later this year.

Right now I'm Using a Mackie 1604 VLZ Pro (+4 balance system), recorded on ADAT XT-20 (tape version) Lexicon reverb, still using the good ole 3630 compressor. The sound is great!
