Band/artist history
I began playing guitar at age 10 with classical lessons. Throughout my teen years, I performed in Rock Bands, favoring artists like Led Zeppelin and Hendrix. In my twenties I went to the University of North Carolina in Wilmington to study classical guitar with Robert Nathanson. During that time I was exposed to a wide variety of music, performed in a Big Band jazz orchestra as well as with the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra. I returned to the Rock scene in the 90s playing with various bands. I have played lots of restaurant and wedding gigs, hosted an open mike night at a local club, taught guitar lessons. More recently I became a Christian and began to participate in music at church. I am also trying my hand at producing and recording other artists here at my home studio.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play at church every week. I play "out" as opportunities present themselves. Would consider joining the right band.
